Do You Have Dental Insurance?

We accept all fee-for-service dental plans. Even though dental insurance is a private arrangement between you and your company, we will file your claim, handle the paperwork, and show you how to use your insurance to get maximum benefits.

We want to help you maximize your insurance benefits. Please remember dental insurance does not always cover the cost of your treatment as anticipated. While dental/medical costs have increased exponentially in the past 10 years, dental insurance benefits have remained relatively the same over the past 40 years. As a courtesy, we will attempt to get an estimate of your dental insurance prior to services being rendered and will provide you with a copy of your estimate. Please keep in mind that there are hundreds of dental insurance plans available, and everyone has different contract exclusions, benefit clauses, frequency limitations, and/or usual and customary guidelines. Because of this, we can never guarantee claim payments. We do not allow insurance companies to dictate the course of treatment for our patients. Rest assured, we will recommend a treatment plan that is appropriate for your case regardless of what your insurance might or might not reimburse.

We are more than happy to request that your insurance benefits be sent directly to our office with your consent and if your plan offers this service. Unfortunately, there are a few carriers that will not send payment to the provider, even when we request that they do so. In these instances, we ask that you pay in full for services, and we will handle the paperwork to ensure you receive direct reimbursement from your carrier. Dental insurance is a contract between the patient, the insurance company, and the employer. We are not a party in that contract.

• Claim Filing– Leave the details to us! Our dedicated insurance specialists handle all claim filing and follow-up until the claim is processed and paid.
• Cost-Sharing – You pay your percentage, and we track down the rest! We negotiate with your insurance to get the best coverage, and the least patient responsibility on treatment costs. Many dentists make the patient pay all treatment fees up front claiming they will reimburse you later, if and when they receive payment from your insurance company. At Advanced Smiles, you pay only your portion of treatment costs while we take on the responsibility of collecting the balance from your insurance company.
